In life -
it's not where you go,
it's who you travel with.
Started the year with a talk by Chris McCooey on Rogues, Rascals and Rebels.
First outing of the year to see Joseph at the Hazlitt Theatre in Maidstone.
February saw us having a go at Silk Painting creating lovely cards to take home.
In March we were enthralled by a talk on the Life and Times of the Honey Bee.
An outing to the cinema to see Lady in the Van followed by a Fish Supper was enjoyed by members in March
In April we learned a useful skill - Fifty ways to tie a scarf!
A bowling evening in May was great fun!
Our AGM in May was followed by a demonstration in cupcake decorating and then we got to try for ourselves.
Stained Glass of Canterbury Catherdral was our topic for June.
We were blessed with a balmy evening as we watched She Stoops to Conquer at Great Comp Gardens.
We were bathed in sunshine for our visit to Downderry Lavender in July.
A very illuminating talk on factors that influence the value of Antiques got our members thinking in August.
In September we indulged in some Laughter Therapy.
On October 1st we held a Coffee Morning raising £174.40 for MacMillan Cancer Support.
At our Birthday party in October we were entertained by harpist, Margaret Watson
In November, author, Christiphor Llyod, blew us away with a history lesson in 14 objects he kept on his coat.
Ending the year with Christmas celebrations singing carols and enjoying a festive supper.
